The Pentawards winners were announced during the Brussels Design Forum last week on October 2, 2009 and included Aniden Interactive’s Bronze Pentaward win for our HP Vivienne Tam Mini packaging design. We also received a Pentaward nomination for our HP Mini packaging system. Over 750 entries from 39 countries were submitted for this year’s Pentawards competition.
HP’s Mini Series offers a wide array of colors and designs to choose from to give consumers an opportunity to show off their style. HP selected Aniden Interactive to design the packaging for their Vivienne Tam Mini, now known as a digital clutch, and HP Mini notebooks. Aniden’s environmentally responsible packaging and documentation was printed on soy-based inks and made from 100 percent recycled material. Documentation included branded set up guides and posters with simplified directions to complete a consumer’s out-of-box experience.
“We’re thrilled to be part of creating winning out-of-box experiences for the HP Mini, an already highly awarded product. Aniden really worked the convergence between high tech and high fashion to offer something special and rewarding to HP’s customers,” says Serena Lin Bush, Creative Strategist at Aniden Interactive.
PENTAWARDS is a worldwide packaging design awards competition. Each year, an international jury selects the best package designs from all over the world. The submitted package designs are created for markets ranging from everyday consumer products to luxury goods.
