Eco-friendly design for eco-friendly products is on the rise. Late last year, when HP announced their plans to release a new long-lasting lithium-ion battery, Aniden was thrilled to be a part of HP’s green initiative by designing the battery’s packaging. The Enviro battery lasts about three times longer than competing batteries, resulting in fewer batteries needing to be recycled. The battery is also made with eco-friendly materials.
The designers at Aniden make an effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible when approaching all projects. This includes careful consideration of the amount or type of ink used and the materials and paper chosen for each design project. With an internal recycling system in place and a group of designers anxious for more green-oriented projects, Aniden Interactive hopes to make an environmental difference.
“It is always exciting to work on projects with an environmental aspect,” says Richard Herron, Aniden’s Senior Designer for HP’s Enviro packaging design. “We are proud Aniden Interactive was able to provide HP with package designs for environmentally responsible products. I’m sure HP will continue to push the boundaries for environmentally friendly innovations and Aniden will be there to help them achieve their goals.”
