Some people are so immensely talented it is absolutely disgusting. Scott Hansen would certainly be close to the top of that list for me. A friend turned me on to Scott’s portfolio site, ISO50.com, several years ago and I was instantly hooked and have enjoyed following his work.

Scott has a great style in his graphic work; utilizing vectors and muted color tones to create an almost retro feel. In some ways, I feel like Scott’s print and logo work is a study in imperfection- when working in a digital medium, it is easy to make an image perfect and clean. Scott seems to go out his way to avoid clean and perfect, while keeping an occasionally odd sense of symmetry.

In addition to his visual artistry, Scott is a brilliant musician. Using the handle, “Tycho,” Scott has released multiple singles, an EP, a full-length album and is working on completing a second. His visual art complements his music on his album covers, show posters and video played during live shows.
