I knew I wanted to be an artist at the age of 4. I’ve always loved drawing, painting, and being creative. I am fortunate enough to have parents who have always supported me. My mother encouraged me to paint murals on the walls of my bedroom when I was in junior high. I’ve always found it very relaxing to sketch.
These days, free time is scarce, so I squeeze in the occasional doodle whenever I can. Gone are the studies of minute detail; they have been replaced with quick fun curves and often abstract shapes. Still therapeutic, though, as doodling does wonders to calm the nerves and help one zone out for a few moments.
Maybe someday I’ll get back to more lengthy projects. But until then, it’s the doodle for me.
I hope you enjoy! Thanks - Eric
