Poetry in Motion

Motion graphics and animation has interested me ever since I can remember. Even as a child, instead of bedtime stories, I would have my mom describe different kinds of “special effects” that might be seen in movies. And today, motion graphics has become my career.

Motion design is truly everywhere, and can be found in movies, commercials, online, digital signage, wayfinding, user interfaces, and even billboards. It has so many purposes and is used for so many important things, which is exactly why I find it so refreshing when its only purpose is to be a work of art. When there is no product to be sold, movie to be promoted, or event to be hyped, I feel like the motion and animation can truly shine, and be appriciated without distraction.

So on that note, here are a few of my favorite pieces that have no message or meaning whatsoever, except to be a beautiful example of what motion design can be. Enjoy!
