Aniden Assassin
Nerf guns have always been the weapon of choice for us here at Aniden. You know there’s a problem, when you’re busy at work and suddenly hear the sound of a drill coming from the desk next to you. Yes, a drill. A few of our most passionate Nerf gun fighters actually rig their guns to increase the power of their Nerf gun. Did I mention some of our Nerf guns are even spray-painted black?
That being said, when it was announced we were going to play Aniden Assassin, we all reacted differently. Excitement, fear, nervousness and anxiety were a few of the emotions felt throughout our agency’s team. For all of you unfamiliar with the game, Wikipedia defines Assassin as a “live-action game where players try to eliminate each other from the game using mock weapons in an effort to become the last surviving player.”
Aniden Assassin lasted a full week. The highlight of Aniden Assassin was probably when Mark, our VP of production, got a running start and rammed himself into Jeremy, one of our Senior Designers, pushing him out our office doors so he could shoot him in the hall.
After five days of running around our building hallways, elevators and parking lot with Nerf guns, our multimedia designer, Jody, 2D graphic artist, David, and Associate Creative Director, Todd, were our three finalists. Too bad for Todd, he had to travel to Dallas for a meeting on the fifth day and was disqualified. To end the game, we had an exciting duel off between Jody and David, where Jody put up the best fight and won.
Congratulations to Jody for being the ultimate Aniden Assassin!
